The Highland PCN Walking program started in 2014 as a way to introduce a safe way to help members of the community add exercise into their lives.
With the help of CrossIron Mills, we aim to create a safe and inviting environment for people of various abilities to achieve their fitness goals. Members of the program have walked over 16,000,000 steps as of 2016 collectively since its inception.
Lead by Highland PCN's own kinesiologist once a week to help make sure that members are safe, comfortable and are able to set their own pace.
The walking program runs daily but is only kinesiologist lead on Tuesday's from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at CrossIron Mills Mall Gate 2, all new members are welcomed year-round.
